I'm a DIY promoter, whatever that means nowadays, I am not affiliated with any particular venue and am not paid to put on shows, any money made at gigs tends to go straight to bands / sound engineers / gig costs. On the rare occasion that profit is made it ends up paying for previous losses or stored in the British Wildlife piggy bank and put toward future shows or festivals.
